Finding the perfect fit for your brand promotion

If you’re looking to promote your brand then there are some things to look out for to make sure you get the best from your campaigns. Here are some tips on how to get the best results.

Get the right brand ambassadors

When you’re planning your promotions, whether you’re doing a flyer handout, a sales call promotion, or a social media campaign, it’s important that your brand ambassadors are the right fit for your promotional activities. Your ambassadors need to be well chosen and well briefed to make sure they reflect your brand and connect well with your target audience. This covers everything from the way they look and interact to reflect your brand’s tone and style. Depending on what your business is, this can vary between being smart and formal or more relaxed, but all ambassadors should have an enthusiastic, friendly, professional attitude and a genuine interest in your brand and be able to share their enthusiasm with your target customers.

A clear message and a Call to Action

You need to work out a good strategy for your brand promotion, making sure that it is clear what you’re trying to promote and how you will measure the success of your campaign. This might be to get more sales or to get people to sign up to an email database or even arrange an appointment or consultation. No matter what your goal, your brand ambassadors should be well briefed and possibly even incentivised to get the best results. This way you can measure the success of the campaign and generate more enthusiasm in your brand ambassadors to help them reach the achievable targets that you have set for them.

Getting the best results

You need to direct your ambassadors to understand how the promotion will work and what you’re aiming to achieve from it. For example, if you’re planning a flyer handout, you need to work out the best times and locations for your ambassadors to be handing out flyers and work out how’s the best way to connect with your target customers. This covers not only the best way to reach your targets but it also covers all the things to look out for regarding health and safety, to make sure you don’t put either your ambassadors or your target customers at risk or cause obstructions.

Measuring and refining your campaign

Assuming you have worked well with your ambassadors to plan and execute any promotional campaigns, you also need to be able to measure the success to work out what went well and what needs to be refined. Your ambassadors should be able to give you timely feedback on what they found was working well and what needs to be refined.

Getting the most from any promotional campaign can be a daunting task; ensuring everything is done right. If you want to be sure that you get the best results, consider using an agency who have experience and expertise in running campaigns and will be able to guide you through it.
